Pneumatic Float Switch
When water rises to a preset level in the sump basin the switch turns on and the pump starts.
Pneumatic float switch. Float float level switches are sensors with an electrical contact output at a specific liquid level. Often used to extend and then retract a cylinder at different speeds these valves create two actions and have two exhaust ports which allows you to control the speed of each action by attaching a flow control valve to each exhaust port. A few models are designed for the automation of pumps specifically filling and draining of tanks wells and reservoirs. The model 207 utilizes a model 106 installed in a carbon steel tank.
Float switches for water empty and fill your tank with a single device this dual level switch includes two float switches that actuate at different levels. Sump and sewage float switches have a float that raises and lowers depending on the water level in the sump basin to automatically control switch operation. The model kpfs pneumatic float switch can be ordered to have the pneumatic valve open when it senses a liquid level rising lr option or open when it senses the liquid level falling lf option. The float mechanism mounted within the vessel oper ates a ceramic coated magnet.
Pneumatic float valves are a buoyancy style level sensor with a pneumatic output valve. As the float moves it pivots the magnet. Applications include level control valve control deaerators condensate tanks oil level control drip legs and boilers. Tuffy pneumatic side mounted float switch the pneumatic tuffy liquid level switch is a compact pneumatic level switch designed for horizontal mounting in a tank or vessel through threaded or flanged pipe connections.
The magnetic float switch is an air sensor for detecting liquid level inside a vessel. The tank features a sight glass and the wetted parts are carbon steel brass glass and buna n seals. The switch is designed to function as either a pneumatic high or low switch or as an automatic water make up valve. A non magnetic barrier tube effectively isolates the switch mechanisms from the controlled liquid.
Also known as 4 way and 5 2 valves. Mount through a threaded connection at the top of your tank. When the water is drained down the switch turns off and the pump stops. Magnetrol float level controls use a simple float and magnetic coupling action.
A manual valve actuator is provided to open the valve manually if desired.
